The Seed album release party events this Memorial weekend were so full, crazy and beautiful. Great to get the music out there, get it listened to – both on CD and live. At this point, Seed feels like it was recorded a long time ago, but it was a real pleasure to appreciate how it’s still relevant now in my creative process, and of course to play the music live with Ted Looby, Gus Ziesing, Remy De Laroque and Dan Strauss. We missed Bridget Wheeler and Chris Schroth, both off in the world doing great things!
Great to get some mention and feedback review in Seven Days too.
One of the biggest perks/pleasures was to play a couple radio shows in the weeks before – Exposure on WRUV 90.1FM at UVM, and The Rocket Shop on The Radiator 105.9FM – with Ted and Gus. I’d never done a radio show before! a whole different set of performance skills. Then the rest of the gang assembled from Brooklyn to share shows at the Light Club Lamp Shop on Saturday and Bagitos in Montpelier on Sunday. Watching sunset over Lake Champlain all together with take-out from Tiny Thai at Oakledge Park really rounded out the weekend just right. Wow, fun to be, like, a real band for a moment!
